Hello Gerard! This is a very nice work! Great framing, details and colors! Also very smooth merging of the single frames. Btw do you mind to tell how many single frames do you use here? Do you shot at 55mm? The only thing is that I see a little hard processing at the trees. I usually have the same problem. Maybe if you make this area darker it would help. Best regards, Konstantinos.

Hi Kostas, i am going from memory, however this was a pano made up of portrait oriented shots, about 8 images i think, i actually cropped alot from the top and bottom so a landscape orientation would have been fine in hindsight. These were at teh longer end of the focal length, 50mm, at this length there is very little distortion and stitching the images is a 'no brainer'. Thanks for the feedback.

I think this is as perfect as the panorama gets. Perfect framing, great sharpness, fantastic DOF (or more a lack of it). Yes, saturation could be greater, but this doesn't stop me from giving 3TU. Very, very well done and I'm looking forward for more!

Thanks Robert, I have reworked this to give some areas just a fraction more saturation and yes it does improve it a bit..thanks.

Very nice pano. I like the evening light and tones, though the opera house is a little centered. My instinctual response to this photo is that some how it is backwards and the opera house is supposed to be on the right. I must be used to seeing it from the same vantage point every time. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Spencer, there are soooo many pictures out there of the this location but the one your thinking of is probably the typical image from the north side of the harbour or from the bridge which makes it the 'right' way around ;) I agree with the centered look of the house, i wish I could change that, possibly more crop form the right..thanks for the feedback

The rather classic and much photographed view of the the emerald city. What makes this one that little bit better is the wonderful tones in the sky. This is the sort of images that loses a bit in this format unfortunately... nothing you can do about it but it really needs to be LARGE... nice shot!

Well seen and captured here this Cityscape scene and view. Croping this image into a panorama format works well here. I think that I would prefer to try to add a little bit more sharpness here and in future I would prefer to see this image in larger file. Regards, Michal.

Thanks Michal, some sharpness is lost on the downsize and i think it also does look better full size, i have given it a bit more of a tweak in the sharpness (large radius) to make sure it does come across nice and sharp for next time. Thanks mate.

Beautiful panoramic of the skyline of the harbour. Love the color of the sky. Nice clarity and detail.

May be, brighten up the music hall shells a little to give it more bite.

Cheers Alex, correct on teh whiteness and brightness of the opera house - i did rework that and with a bit of local brightening and desaturation ( to get a more pure white) it looks better.
