Several positives here. I like the geometric lines in the background because they emphasize the diagonals in her pose. I like the tilt of her head towards the high shoulder, the angles of her arms and legs, slant of her hips and positioning of hands and fingers. These all make the pose geometrically interesting. I would suggest one more element. I would prefer the body at an angle to the camera to accentuate natural curves and dimension. The straight-on view seen here appears too flat to me and reminds me a little of police mug shots and official ID photos. A 45 degree angle towards the camera appears more feminine. Everything else would remain the same as you have here. I respect your view if you were intentionally trying for a flat, gemetric look.

I especially tried to keep her out of the harsh sunshine ... mobility was pretty limited ! ;=)

A much better effort than the one with the striped background but the light on her face is way too harsh. The redness on her cheeks detracts from the overall quality of the image.

Cheers, Rick.

the light on her face is way too harsh ... this surprises me, as in fact she was standing in the shade, well shielded from direct sunlight ...
