This photo definitely deserves more attention, I believe. The orange/red color of the BG and overall lighting gives a painting like impression. The singer's mimic and stance are a big plus. The only distracting thing is the bright light on the left and if I were you I would clone it out whatever the difficulty is. Congratulations.

thanks for your comments,this is the first picture i picked out, i have others where she moved away from the annoying background,i do like it so i will try at some point to clone out the bright part,cheers martyn

You definitely captured a movement here. One can almost hear sharp tones of flamenco guitar... It's only a treat pity you didn't move a couple of steps to your left; then you would avoid that pit at the left since it doesn't really belong to the scenery. If it wasn't for that part, this would be clear 3TU.

Definitely like the effect of the smoke and the lights. Pose with the shawl is very dynamic and, as a Spaniard, this stirs feelings of wanting to see this flamenco performance.
On the negative side the red light on her face is a touch too much and pity that she's not looking directly at the camera (but, of course, you could not control that!).
Good documentary photograph and I hope you enjoyed the show. Cheers, Rick.
