"Mono Lake Sunrise" - the first light of day glowing on distant mountains behind Mono Lake, near Lee Vining, CA.
Pentax 645D, with Pentax-FA 645 80-160mm lens @ 130mm. Three shot panoramic taken with my nodal slide and photomerged to create a 78mp pano (after cropping). Each frame shot at f/9, 1/30 sec, ISO 200. Processed in ACR, then local adjustments made in PS.

amazing scen image IMHO ...the color looks little on purple side ? I am not sure ....and the big framing may be too much ? only my tase ...
I am not sure the white balance is right or not ??

Steven, I definately played with the WB. The in-camera WB was far too warm. I cooled it off some, but also added 'vibrance' in ACR. Perhaps too much. Thank you for your input, regards, Ryan

I would love to have this photo on the wall of the room. very nice panoramic view of majestic mountain with an excellent first plan. purple tint morning just gives the perfect atmosphere. at least to me. Greetings! Sinisa

Did you go to Bode State Park which is just north of Mono Lake? Awesome photo ops there. Post some images if you did. Ted
