I too would crop some from the top. A bit more DOF would be a plus. You could enlarge the catchlight with post processing to add impact. Nice close cropped animal photo. Regards. Bill

way too cute, we sometimes forget the objects right around us, I am between 1 and 2 thumbs, I am just not sure of the super shallow dof, would have to compare a shot with a bit more dof. still,, good photo.

Great pose and composition. I like that you nailed the focus on the eye dead on, and still kept the nose in focus. Lighting is ideal on the face. I would probably have cropped a little from the top of the frame; I think it adds nothing to the overall composition. Great shot, and a very nice keepsake for Punky's owners. Thanks for posting.

Thank you. I agree with the crop; but I usually don't crop my pictures I try to frame them as best as I can in camera. The bottom right actually shows part of the cage blue plastic as a blue blur that is distracting.
