Wow, I really nice natural looking portrait! I think the lighting is wonderful and perfect ratio. Spot on with the sharpness and the skin details are great, it looks a though you have made minimal retouching on the skin.. leaving the natural features, I love this. I don't know if you tried it during the shoot, but whether turning her shoulder furthest from camera slightly inwards, I don't know if this would of given the image even more depth?
My only thing Im a little unsure of in the photograph, is the hand, not that it's a massive problem, just Im not sure if its a little too far out of the picture to be in the picture.. if that makes any sense at all
But overall, a lovely honest portrait
I hope my critique is ok, just I have recently decided that to further develop my own photography I need to view others and learn to make constructive judgements here, so as to be able to judge my own work also.

What can I say? You're a Mastercraftsman. I love the distinct style and from the thumbnail itself I can tell if it is a "Yuri Image". :) Really love this picture. The light the pose and the suitableness. Her expression renders a sense of tenderness and I get a sense of implicit trust between the photographer and the model. Beautiful.

I guess I've said this before - but doesn't hurt to repeat. Even before opening the thumbnail I knew it was one of yours. I'm not 100% certain what there is about your style that is so uniquely yours, but you absolutely do have your style and it shows up in the majority of your images. There is a timeless classic quality to your portraits that I really like. I always see the presentation of a person not just a photograph. As usual superlatives don't do your portraits justice. To bad you couldn't spend the summer in New York. My guess is the thirst for your style of portraits and the demand would trap you there forever.

Good use of light has created a beautiful three dimensional portrait with good skin colors and a naturel expression. Eye contact is outstanding. Altough a good idea, I found the vignetting a bit inattentive. Very good work Yuri.

Good portrait, I like it well. Good pose, eye contact and expression. Good lighting for the fine warm colours. The pose and place in the picture gives a nice composition, well seen.

Fine and natural expression. Good set of light, lighting and eyes contact. Very good portrait work, Yuri. Vertical frames works well here. However I would prefer to see more space in up part of photo, of course it is a matter of taste. Some fingers of your model's left hand are cutted, it is a pity, I understand that it was your intention here to compose this photo as it is, however in my opinion this portrait work could be also works well in square format. Regards, Michal.

I spent some time, composing this... I always say to myself: "Take more surroundings, Yuri!", but everytime I am so ipressed by my model's eyes that only looking through results, I find out mistakes... Thai time - cuted fingers of her left hand... Thank you for your critique, Michal!
