Hi Ben

Beautiful colour, not gaudily overdone. I like the way the golden light picks out the variegated autumnal shades and turns the timber posts a kind of toffee colour.

The sky could be a bit more dramatic, perhaps with some subtle HDRI. There is a slight halo around the balloon, have you over-sharpened? The sky seems noisy on my screen. We get balloons over our house and they are not easy to photograph well. I like to wait until the fire flares up to add impact. Thanks for showing this, Clive.

Usually hot air balloon pictures are about vibrant color and blue sky. I don't know what you'd done to this image in processing, the image is smudged. The color is offbeat. Maybe you can tell us what went wrong.
