My first real attempt at portrait photography in the studio, I am looking for some tips and critique on improving my lighting and model guidance. ANY critique would be greatly appreciated.

A tastseful portrait with good sharpness and composition. Eye contact is very good as well. However, the picture is a bit dim which may enrich the model's mystical atmosphere but weaken the clarity of the image. To my eye, I would prefer to brighten up slightly the picture though.

Adrian, welcome to photosig. I'm happy to be the first one to rate your photo. I like this type of portrait that keeps the woman unidentified and mysterious. Eye contact is good and the eye hidden behind her hair adds to the mystery. Lighting is fine. Thanks for sharing. -G
