A polarizing filter turned to eliminate the disturbing windscreen glare and fill flash to open up the drivers side shadows would have helped. I really like the subject. Do you know year? Early 50's or mid-late 40's

Might the polarising filter be responsible for showing the zone toughening of the wind screen/shield? Love the photograph! Clive
