this photograph has a simplicity that appeals to me, but it looks like it is just a little bit too grey. not a lot, but a little.

Good photographer's eye and impressive composition too. As the DOF is shallow and the textures on wall are so appreciable, I will thus expect the whole picture being in good focus but not only the words printing on the black area. Also agree that it would be helpful if increase a bit of the contrast. Nice work anyway.

I'm a fan of this kind of shot. I think it would be a lot better if the (local) contrast were increased quite a bit, to make it 'pop' a bit more. Thanks for sharing!

The image doesn't really appeal to me artisticly, but the way you handled it is well done. I like the sharpness and the layout, but I think I might have preferred colour over B&W. Overall, though, not bad. One last look and I see the reflection in the glass and wonder if a polarizer could have been used to reduced it. Ben

Good eye on it and very pleasant composition dear Patrice. The texture on the wall looks fine. Window has been located in its best place in photo frame. TFS, Mehrdad
