Another version of an image I uploaded previously after a lot of PS processing to try to improve it. Is it better or should I give up? Thanks for looking and also thanks for all your good input. JimT

I'm giving you 1TU, simply because this rendering is a bit more interesting than you previously obviously bland image. But you went the other way around. Instead of trying to fix your 1st image with post processing, you tried to make it look surreal. Just get your first image and start playing with the curves. Your target should be trying to bring some saturation to the sky, not replacing it altogether.

Thanks Martin. I think I'll just give up. JimT

Thumb-down    from roxxie2013/Roxxie (842) Send mail to this user on May 17, 2012 6:17:39 PM CDT (2) Early critique

You lost it in postproduction. Having a mid-day snapshot you have begun with is not worth the time spent.

Too many flaws introduced here: the worst one is that you have lost the property of light source. This kind of haze is usually met in spring or autumn dawn and this scenery obviously was not made in dawn.

Remember that postprocessing will not make bad picture good.
