Nice photo. Sharpness on tulip's petals looks soft. I think and due to the fact that there are some elements out of the focus on corners I would prefer to try to make more close-up photo of this tulip. Regards, Michal.

It is a beautiful tulip. But the lighting seems a little flat and the color lost most of it vibrancy. The background, although blurred, is too bright. Maybe you can bring in the level a little to boost it up. Dead center composition is static. You can easily correct that by framing it a little diagonally.

Thanks Alex, guess I`ve got to learn PS. Will attempt the diagonal approach and resubmit the same based on the comments received.

A good try Keith, but the ilght is not giving you a good hand to shine up the tulip. Focus on the front tulip petal seems off and overall sharpness is somehow lacking, may try some sharpening after the photo is downsized for Psig submission. Composition wise, it doesn't work well for me, may try to rotate your camera to place the main stem entering from the lower right frame diagonally.

Cheers.......Edwin

nice try Keith. The flower looks could be a bit brighter and could be moved off of the center of the image. I also think the background is too bright for the flower

Thanks Dave. It was a cloudy day and, being the first day, there were too many people for me to move around. Your C&C are very encouraging.
