Criticisms and comments very welcome. Wandering around a local bluebell wood and spotted the tree trunks framing the bluebells and the light was just catching the tip of the fern growing at the base. Many thanks for looking and any comments. Regards Geoff

I like your general concept. But, the background is so overprocessed it hurts my eyes. The foreground is perfect, the tree and fern frond. The background... the sky adds brightness and another element and contributes to the complexity. The bright background is overpowering the image. The Sharpening was waaaaaaaay overdone. Here's what I would do. Reshoot early morning or early evening when that bright light is more subdued. Use a higher camera angle eliminating the sky and introducing the bluebells closer to the tree. And use a tripod or other stabilizing divice that will allow you to use a small f/stop that will increase the DOF (F/22) and not cause camera shake. >TED
