Nice picture depicting the life in an Amish community. Love the clear sky and depth of field. The vertical format is well done showing the perspective of working men/women against the backdrop of their home.
Would be more interesting if there was some stray cloud dotting the blank sky. I would also tone down the golden hays color about 3/4 of a stop so it meshes in better with the over all scene.

Really a very nice layered image. By layered I mean dimensionally layered, color, and texture. For me, and it might be my monitor, it appears shifted just a bit toward green and needs a little warmth to the let viewer cozy up to it. Still it is really a very nice photo and vaguely reminds of some of Grant Wood's painting. You did well to get as much into the photo as you have. Its a wonderful landscape.

Thanks John. Perhaps you're right because it was late in the day and I left the color looking a bit too cool. I tried warming it up a bit and indeed it looks more natural. Thanks for your comments!

Fantastic doc photo! I love having such long depth which leads my eye deeper into the space and into the story. That makes this composition simply perfect.
But light makes me uncomfortable. Should it had a larger portion of golden light, it would be more dramatic and possibly more appealing. Having this way, there is a sense of picture being too cold (while I can anticipate warm day in the post-harvest field). More vividness might help. In a matter of speaking, try to give back what you subtracted with that -1eV (which was smart thing to do, btw). Give a pinch of light and three pinches of saturation and this will qualify for an easy 2 TU. Just for the record, I am talking about color quality that you delivered in the first pic in your portfolio, Pond Reflection.
Keep on delivering! Wish you good eye and steady hand!

You're right too Roxxie, it needed a bit of warmth. I shifted the color more toward the warmer late afternoon light and it looks more natural and like what I saw when I took the shot. I also tried a bit more light and that helped, but upping the saturation begins to make it look unnatural so I think I'll leave that adjustment where it is. Thanks for your comments!

Oh yes, I know what you are talking about: it is very easy to go to far with saturation. Try with clarity, contrast and shadow/brightness ratio. But e-a-s-y, as it also might go over.
Nevertheless, deep field remains the best property of this wonderful picture, whatever tone warmth it applied :)
