I took this photo in a Dogon village of Mali, West Africa. The sunlight was very strong and harsh then. I am sorry that the bodies of the dancers are dark because of the backlighting.

I like the colors and the motion of the costumes. I agree with the first post about the crop being too tight especially since the first dancer's horse hair adejo (sp?) is partially cut out. Perhaps kneeling would not only provide a steeper angle and more interest on the dancers but also provide you more room to capture every part of the dancers in the shot.

cool snap,, but remember to let the space around the subjects breath, sometimes the excitement of the moment and framiing results in too tight of a crop. Looks like a great trip.
