This is my RE-submission of the "Midnight Flower" (http://www.photosig.com/go/photos/view?id=2525367)

This time it's almost out of the cam with only a few contrast- and level adjustments and the same cropping as the midnight version.

What do you think? Which one is better? Ah, and by the way... it's lit by a handheld flash light triggered remotely with cactus transceiver.

Nice theme with these drops on flowers'a petal, light very well captured. Beside flower is situated here in diagonal position and it add a lot to this composition. Black color of background gives a good color contrast here. However if a part of this plant which is situated on the left side of photo in background isn't a part of this photographed flower I would prefer to try to rmove - clone it out from background. Regards, Michal.

Hi Michal,

always nice to read from you. ;) Your thoughts regarding this green "thing" left behind the flower... you have me totally with you there! That's why I made the "Midnight" version, cloning out those things. But you see... there are also people telling me, I should show more of those green surroundings. I personally prefer the midnight flower. On 500px the votes clearly go for the daylight version ;) So I guess, I lost a little bet ;)

Hi Goyko---Very nice shot---Idea,colors ,sharpness and saturation are perfect, but the green tulip leaf , make it another thing,...the background is not nice and I suggest more room for this beautiful flower...clear out the "water mark" Gooood luck.

I think this one is better. But still, I'd like to see some green to compliment the red. Will be nice if you could work the left or branch in there.
