Sometime we have to take what nature gives us. However my biggest problem with this image is that it is too soft, there is very little feather detail. With the equipment you are shooting with I would expect much more detail. How much was this cropped from the full frame? If this is a very tight crop from a larger initial image, this could help explain the lack of detail. Exposure is good with expected details, I like the highlight in the eye.
