Well seen, the composition looks fine. Good lighting, but I think longer then 1/30s. when I look to the water. It's a pity, the picture could use more sharpness.

Thanks for your comment but the exposure was 30 seconds and f/22 so what do you mean by "could use more sharpness" ??

What I like about this image is the starkness in contrast between the bridge beam in the lower right and the blurred water. The mist-like, milky quality of the water in concert with the blurred sky lends the image a surreal feeling that I quite enjoy.
br> However, the stark contrast in the lower right part also keeps pulling my eye back there, and I feel very little incentive to visually walk the pier to its end. What's more, the pole puncing through the top of the image contributes to making the image feel a bit skewed to the right in terms of visual weight. Finally, I wish there were a way to tie the far shoreline into the composition; at the moment, it peers through, detracting from the main subject.

All that being said, I still enjoy this picture and its gloriously luminous b/w treatment.
