You achieved nice focus and detail on the flower center for this shot Joost. But IMO you are caught in the middle- too close to show the whole flower and too far away to have a good abstract of the center. It is often more appealing to pick one of those for the shot. Nick

nice sharp details in the centre of the shot, but the composition could maybe be a little more original. Not sure on the different colours around the flower petals etc.
