Huge dog-lover here, James. I love the pose and the expression of the dog. However, I would try for a shallower DOF so that it draws attention to Bruiser's face (rather than have the entire shot being in focus). Also, the top part of the picture is a bit distracting (where you can see the parking lot), but I'm sure you kept that so that you wouldn't crop out Bruiser's tail. Overall, a nice shot, but it doesn't have as much "pop" as it could have.
