I love this. Quirky and original with fantastic focus and shallow depth. Especially for a wide angle (?) shot. The pile of stuff on the right is a major distraction for me, but otherwise the shot is great.

Thank you. It's Nikkor 35/2.0D on APS-C, so it's somewhere around 50mm.

Hi Tomas, the photo is very nice indeed! Unfortunately, the sky is too bright, and the photo has some hot spots as well; those are obvious distractions. I would suggest cropping the sky right to the top of roof of the second building on right -- it will not change the composition of the image and will allow to concentrate viewers' attention at the main object. Best regards, Victor.

Hi Tomas, I like your photo . Inverting to B&W is nice , dof is good enough and composition is ok I prefer to clone of band of light on the road but yet it is charming .

Very nice depiction of suburbia. Normally I would suggest more detail in the black of the cat but in this case, i think the "very black" is perfect as it accentuates those wonderful eyes, which are absolutely the main point of focus and where my eyes are drawn to. Very nice DOF that gives the impression of the neighbourhood without distracting from the main subject. I like your low camera position here as well. My only VERY minor crit would be the lack of anything in the sky, but really, it barely matters in this case. Well seen and executed... nice original shot!

Vary nice. Lots of space around your subject, just enough light on the black fur to give is texture, and good use of dof to direct the attention.
