Jaighie---Welcome to PhotoSig. You have a wonderful, wonderful image here. You have positioned your subjects well in the photo---a perfect composition following rule of thirds. The colors---well, as you are already aware, they are striking --- gorgeously striking---Perfectly captured by you and your camera! I have one minor suggestion ---there are two small poles emerging from the sunray colored water a little to the right of the center of the image---while not big distractions, I believe that your image would be even better if they were carefully cloned out. Again---welcome to photoSig. Thank your for joining and sharing your work. Remember---"we" are a Critique site----do critique other's work. Give and take as the saying goes. Bruce

Thank you so much for your critique and advice. You pointed out the small poles in my photo. I agree with you the photo could be better and visually cleaner if they are removed, but I didn't do that on purpose. Why? The reason is simple. They are neither stain nor dust but real poles in the river. I believe the travel photos can be better when they represent the reality as exact as possible, because the travel photo is a kind of documentary. For this reason I don't like the artificial modification just for visual beauty and I usually try not to change the original image. I hope you understand what I mean. Anyway I want to appreciate again your concern and detailed comment, though.

I understand perfectly and do not disagree with you-----would do the same if it were my photo. But, if trying to exhibit or sell----i would clone them out. Bruce

I understand your point. I agree with you the poles had better be cloned out in case of exhibition or sale. It looks like I didn't consider that chance. :)

Welcome to photoSIG, Jaeghie,
Moodly light gives a nice atmosphere here. Very nicelly captured here this sunset scene as well as these boats on water, these persons on these boats as well as these silhouettes. Well seen and composed photo.

This is a great photo. The early morning color is outstanding. I like the fact you followed the 1/3 rule of composition on the horizon and sun reflection. Also, having the sun reflection on the boatman on the right was a good decision.

Most of this is comment, not critique. But I suppose "I like this photo and the captured moment." would have given hollow thumbs.
