Welcome to photosig Jodee, this is a nice first submission. You have all the elements there, but I think improving on them some in post-processing will make for a better photo. If this is a crop, then I would give the top flower a little more breathing room. Also increasing the highlight/contrast will bring out texture more on the white petals. Boosting the saturation should make the yellow center pop more.

Hi Nicholas,
Yes I cropped this due to a distracting object above the flower, I realised when doing so that it was cutting it close to the top of the flower but had no other cropping ideas. Yes post photo processing is something im still learning but I take onboard your comments and will try to apply these to future editing. Thank you! Jodee :)

Welcome to photoSIG, Jodee,
Nice photo, well composed. I would prefer to see more space in up part of photo, because ends of some petals are close to the up border.
Brightness is partially intensive on these petals. Some areas on flower could be more sharpen.
Suggestion for future: after resizing try to add more sharpness before submission here.
