Hello Doug! I like this picture. There are nice details and color on the bird. Just two things: a) the branches on the right (as it was stated in the previous critiques also) and the colors on the background and on the tree are a little flat. But definitely the red color makes a very nice contrast. Thanks for sharing, Konstantinos.

Great shot Doug, very beautiful and lovely woodpecker.They move very fast and it is really hard to take their shot, but you were very successful in taking it.Very good sharpness and exposure, very beautiful composition and colors,many thanks for sharing,regards,mo :)

nice capture and very good vertical composition.i like light and colour brightness...i am second about the branch on front taking attraction as much as the bird on focus point...welldone and regards

Very nice capture of the red belly woodpicker. The bird is crisply in focus. Lighting is beautiful with nice catch light on its eye. The beige color background is very pleasing.
Wish you can do something with the loose branches on the front right.

Thanks Alex - I already cloned out the lower branch closest to the bird and it looks much better. Once it was gone, the other one didn't look too distracting. Thanks for the tip. :-)
