Quite lovely composition, and also great light. The late afternoon light gives the row of houses a fine glow. However, the buildings in the background skould have been deleted, as I see it. They break the perfection and unity of this row of identical houses, and take away much of the migic in this scene. regardf, fred

Those beach huts or suchlike are just begging to be photographed and converted into B&W; the conversion has been quite well done, but a tighter crop and a different, closer angle would have yielded better results in my opinion.

Beautifully evocative photo, the monotone works well here for capturing the forlorn after-summer look of the boarded up cabins. Good composition and sharpness. If this wasn't categorized under "journalism," I'd photo-edit out the beer-can reflection at corner right and the white speck in front of Cabin #17. Just my opinion. (PS: I always like to see camera, lens and setting data.)
