Is it a Mamba, I don't know.... Picture shoot in a zoo (Blijdorp, Rotterdam).

Jan, Very nicely captured. You achieved a nice sharp focus on the very front portion of the snakes head---providing viewers excellent detail. I am surprised that with an f/11 aperture at 1/60 second exposure, you have the shallow dof/range of focus that you accomplished here----it is not what I would have expected with these settings. However, I do like the results here and you framed/composed the image well. The only negative point I see to this image is the one large (and several small) area of reflected light on the upper portion on the snake's nose. TFS, Bruce
