There something very sad in this picture. If you wanted to show that, it's excellent. I like the vertcal tree against the horizontal road. Black and white is a good choice.

The first thing I thought of when I looked at this was that it looked like a shot from a scary movie. It's kind of somber, but I like the shot. I agree that the sky could use some enhancement.

I find this picture very boring. Nothing about it grabs my attention. the shape of the tree is the only thing I do like. the sky is so bland. I'd like to see it in color.

The tree is very interesting, but I feel it is leading the eye off the photo. The stark b&w works. I would be tempted to try to get more definition in the sky.
