Hi Ian. Firstly I think the option of black and white was a good choice and the subject you have looked at has good potential. I have two suggestions though that in my mind may make the shot a bit punchier. First up, if you crop up from the bottom and use the gate sections as 'dividers' leaving them slightly off centre, it removes some of the square of metal at the bottom that distracts me and has nothing to offer the shot. I would like to see it gone altogether, but the bottom padlock would be hard against the bottom edge. Secondly, post the image slightly larger to allow the viewer to feast their eyes a bit more. I think though from what I see there could be a slight loss of focus on the left hand padlock, but I cant be sure at this size. Cheers.

Thanks for taking the time Darrell. Not sure how i can make to pic any larger as i scaled it down to the size so i could up-load it. Also i think i have over done it with a bit to much contrast. Thanks again.
