Nice scenery, but this image has some big problems.

If you examine that branch that sticks out into the fog, it's clearly over-sharpened (has a white outline). Yet the image as a whole seems very soft. Perhaps this image was captered OOF and you are attempting to correct? The sky also appears noisy.

In terms of composition, that tangle of roots from the downed tree detracts. You'd have done better to drag the skiff 10 feet to the right, and compose without the tree in the frame.

The image seems to lack sharpness and punch, the ingredients are all there possibly an opportunity missed

I agree with the previous critic. But for the composition, you did an excellent job. I love the cloud on the right.

It could be a nice photo, Jonny. However there is a lack of sharpness and lack of contrast, and it is a pity. I would prefer to try to add more contrast and sharpness here. Regards, Michal.
