Hello mark, welcome to Sig and to the new hobby. You should look at firstly posting your images a bit bigger. It allows the eye to take in whats there a bit better. As mentioned you have good clarity, but a mistake in the Point of View you have chosen. Focus is sharp, depth of field is adequate. Crop is too tight for my taste eliminating the reel's handle on the far right side. Speaking of right sides, that's the side you should have photographed. In my opinion there's more to look at in regards to a variety of parts on the reel, rather than only showing a polished cover. Welcome to Photosig.
