Tried to capture the moment (this is not a pose, obviously) as she's spending only 10 minutes at a time "awake" (= eye's open). Very minimal post with just adjusting the RAW image and lightning up the eye's a little... C&C please!

i tend to think as a general rule for portraits and snaps, that the face should always be brighter than the rest of the image. here the clothes are brighter than her face. i know the light fell that way, but i would either fix in post or better, fix how the light is falling on her. also shooting through the crib is not that attractive. thankfully you got the focus right but while an attempt at creativeness seems to be made here, it seems to miss the mark somehow. i think maybe shooting through the crib is a good idea but excecution needs work and not sure how to help in suggesting anything. tommy
