Bruce:

The subject is interesting. But, I think it's hard to capture such a thing. One needs "a hill far away". Anyway, the color is well done.

Best wishes...

This is a nice haunted house image, the only thing I find distracting is the composition of the image. IMO the cropped has taken up parts of the roof and some of the sides. Maybe, if you did not cropped this picture, try to give yourself a little bit of room for cropping so that you don't take away from the main subject. The colors appears to be balanced, I would try to lower the ISO and adjust your shutter speed accordingly so that next time you can capture the clouds to give it a more dramatic and hunting effect. Thanks for sharing! ~Kandy

Thanks Kandy. I filled the frame a little too much when I took this last week, then had to crop the top left side to "straighten" the image---losing the "peak" of the roof which indeed was unfortunate. The right-hand side of the building actually continues another 50 to 70 feet and is more over-grown with brush. But the peak, yes, I too would have liked it in. Thanks for your comments. Bruce

Bruce, IMO, maybe keep that extra 50-70 feet and blur it a little to give this photo some DOF. It's suppose to be a scary hunting house, right? If you get a chance to retake this image, bring your tripod if you didn't have it with you last time, so you can avoid having to straighten the image. =) Also, try taking this picture when the sun is just about to go down, I think it would give it a scary theme to it. Happy shooting! ~Kandy
