The birds head is in great focus but it is too close to center horizontally. If you cropped the right side, as others suggested, it would bring the head closer to the ideal rule of thirds focal point and also remove the least interesting part of the photo. If you crop some of the top too it will be like blowing up the head and that look great since the head and eye are so nice and sharp.

A nicely seen shot, with good focus around the birds eye. Background is not to distracting, just a shame you cannot see it's feet. Maybe try turning the camera to the vertical.

Hi Roland. Great portrait. Good lighting, sharpness and nice details. Maybe only I would like to suggest you to try to cropp a little bit right side of photo due to the fact that there are some elements out of the focus. Beside I would prefer to see a little bit more space in down part of photo, because a prt of bird is cutted. Thank you for sharing. Regards, Michal.
