One to 3 pieces of Orange melon would have broken things up nicely.

A very nice attempt at a Still Life Shot. Your set and lighting look great but where the photo falls short is in the lack of resolution and detail. The melon pieces just kind of blur together. Perhaps even a different fruit might make for a better picture?? Your on the right track though.
