This lens is quite difficult to use (a lens I want so badly), I understand. But you did a beautiful job in getting it so sharp. What lighting did you use, if I may ask?

Hi, The lighting for this was a Marumi ring flash. Works quite well for the price. The lens does take a bit of getting used to but it is worth it. Cheers.

WOW, what a great macro shot. very good ditales. sharpness is wonderfull. imho the only thing i think can be better is the dof. tfs. cheers. shahar.

Hi, Thanks for the comment. Do you know how narrow the depth of field is on an MPE-65 at 5X magnification. DOF at 5:1 magnification is less than 0.1 mm at f5.6 thats why I used F16 to get the best DOF for the fly's face.
