Hy, Jonny. Love the composition and pose of the subject. Also, background color is nice so as DOF but I agree with Yuri about the shadows, Thank you for sharing. Dragan.

Well seen and goodphotographed Jonny, I like it. The pose helps the composition well, also the picture format. Good lighting, but the bird could have a bit more contrasts.

Hi Good capture, sharp where its needed.The composition works for me and the DOF makes the bird stand out,just a touch more light on the bird would give more impact.Regards Ron

Nice capture. The allure of this shot is how the tones of the woodpecker and the tree match except for that lovely patch of red. The tail touching the tree flat reinforces this as well, as if the bird was trying to camouflage itself.
