If the foreground wasn't different that the 'softer' middle and top of the photo it would really look like messed-up sheets on a bed! Don't you think? You would never know it was sand... There's a wonderful play of light and shadows. I love the depth in this picture and the ripples in the foreground dune add interest. It must have been a breath-taking experience to witness this sunset.
