The other day walking around I cross my way with this motive. Three years earlier I shoot a picture of it and posted it here: Gothic Moon. That is right, everything changes.

Hope you like it. Andres.

I think this version is more to the point, showing the moon and some clouds, maybe some far away stars too, colors are bolder also, a improved version, I would say, of this moon image

Hi Andres, Gothic moon is one my fav photo of yours. Nice to see another version of it. In one way, I like this version more. The moon looks more abstract. Colors are also vivid in this one. But the discontinuous rust line at the bottom which is missing here, fails to give that landscape feel. The triangle at the BRC is distracting and compositionally, TLC looks vacant. Overall, it is a nice experience appreciating and documenting small changes over time.

Hello Jayavel.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for your detailed critique. You are right about the line at the bottom. When I found it again I didn't took a wider view. Fortunately, this motive is one block for my place of work. So, as soon as the light is optimal I will take it again.

About the triangle at the BRC... well I don't know how is that I miss that. I will be careful next time :-)

Thank you again and take care - Andres.

BTW, isn't also interesting to note the difference in responses for these kinds of pics over 3 years?

It is. The response at that time was intensive and I have the impression that at that time more people were interested in abstracts. Also abstract members were more active at that time that they are now... I think. This is not necessarily a bad thing, on the contrary the community at PhotoSig change all the time and with it the subjects of interest.

Most of the people that wrote critiques to the first version are not active since a while. So, it is, the motive in the picture has change a lot and so the critics and their critics... that in biology is called evolution :-)

Regards - Andres.
