Dear Peter, i prefer this crop version, the rider is clear with a nice pose and the water drops (splash) makes the difference on this one. Thanks for sharing, regards, olobo.

Actually it is very good. I like the way the splash is a backdrop for the clear rider. I did not see the orig but I like this one.

Actually, Peter, I prefer the more open crop - it tells the story better since it makes the lake look larger, flatter and the rider seem more alone. However, I wanted to suggest that you lighten the shot and increase the mid-tone contrast to give the shot a bit more punch. Maybe a bit of colour saturation, too. Thanks for posting.
