Congratulations, Tim, for this wonderful shot. I like very much the contrast between the dark at the bottom and the color of the sky. And very happy the capture of the moon with the star. Best regards

A very nice effort, Tim, and a fairly difficult shot to expose properly. I'm guessing that the star above the moon is Sirius??

Should have guessed that from the brightness. But I never get up this early and only see her when she is an evening "star".

Beautiful color in this pre dawn sky. I love the shilouette of the trees and home. Too bad there are not a few more lights on inside the rest of the house. The warm color from inside makes a nice contrast with the cool blue color outside. Happy New Year.
