Great capture...colors and dof ...the size of the hopper is perfect w/in this frame. My only thought is the dof shift to include the eye would aid this.

Dan... I think the colors and the composition are really good. The lighting looks excellent. The subject however is a bit soft. You sould try to capture atleast the front eye in focus. Also, the partially hidden body by the flower pedal makes takes away from the subject.

Got to admit I like this one. The "pose" is unusual, and therefore engaging. I think the petal bit in front of him adds to the overall effect, rather than detracting from it. I would, however, have liked a much deeper focal field.
