I like it... looks like something I would shoot. The sky could use some more color, a deeper blue. A polarizing filter would help that. This would contrast with the brighter thorns.
There are some lines through the middle, perhaps some spider webs. They might show up more on a larger image.
I like the idea and placement. And it has some good colors to work with.

Sorry, a TD from me. Image is overexposed in areas due to the harsh light; and also not sharply in focus. The composition would work better if not based corner-to-corner. e.g. corner to half way up the side?
