I was trying to catch the clouds farmation .. at the same time a dark cloud traveling beneth the clouds very rapidly started to approch ..It was dust storm .. when they come day becomes night , there is very less light .. winds could go up to 50 to 80 miles per hour.. and then dust is every where.. I just waited enough to let it come near and then clicked .. then has to run to safe me and camera .. not sure how it came out :) best of regards. JOYIA

Thanks dear Asghar for your kind words and appriciation .. you are right about details .. but they only could come if I waited a lil more long and let it come over my head.. then I would have lost the brighter part as contrast to the darker part .. so glad you like it :) thanks for stoping by ..best of regards.. Hi, Joyia. Interesting image. I have never seen dust storm before and never experience it too (except from the movie). The dust storm looks threatening enough from your image. I can imagine the bright sky soon will be covered by the dust. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks dear Bunhamin for your kind words and appriciation .. I have been trying to capture weather shot inspired by the wonderful weather photographers.. They do a wonderful job to capture the supper cells..ternados and lightings.. they got more furious weather out there ..but we don't have like that here.. it was a try to capture the weather , I am so glad you like it ;) thanks for stoping by .. best of regards.. That's an impressive dust storm Joyia but I feel it needs more context rather than just some roofs. Showing whole buildings or, better still, people or animals threatened by the storm would be better.

The glow around the tree indicates too much PP work.

Regards, Ian.

Thanks dear Ian for your kind words and appriciation ...you are right about the whole buildings.. or some thing else.. it was taken with the kit lense and it got some limitation .. not so wide and I wanted to capture most of the storm .. well my PP is not still good and I assume I gave a lil stronger USM ..so glad you like it ;) thanks for stoping by ... best of regards.. wow, this looks like an apocalypse scene Muhammad: the darkness of the cloud at its bottom makes it look really threatening while the inclusion of the brighter part of the sky in the upper left gives the feeling that this cloud is crawling towards you (which was actually the case from your comments). There is some noise in the cloud but that's not an issue here. What bother's me a little is the silhouette of the tree which has a brighter halo around its outline which looks unnatural to me. The buildings have a kind of painted look, maybe there was some pp done? Kind regards, Jan

Thanks dear Jan for your kind words and appriciation .. as you mentioned about the halos ..I just noticed it .. there were few rains before it and the buildening got some wet look.. as for as the PP ..yes I did a very lil of it .. Level adjustment and USM after resize.. may be if it because of it :) so glad you like it :) thanks for stoping by .. best of regards.. JOYIA
