Hi, Bob:)! It's really intriquing - especially what grooving will give:)! But can You explain me how it can groove hanging on the pins:)? Inieterting trick with "misterious" bckg - skin? something else? Well done:)! Rgds, Artur

Thank you Artur. I have no idea what species it is and no knowledge of the groove. It was in a live butterfly exhibit in Tucson AZ. They would not allow anyone into the area...this was shot thru a glass window.

Wonderful capture here, Bob. The chrysallis shape is appealing, especially when multiplied and in triplicate. I hadn't ever seen them this color before, nor had I seen them glisten so beautifully. Really nice image. Light and laughter, Deb Booth
