Hello again Harold.

This time I would like to suggest that for my eyes there is too much watery foreground. I like the framing with the boughs! Many regard such framing as chocolate boxy but making a frame for something as large as the Tetons stops the eye wandering away.

I agree with Alex about the brightness of the mountains but I suppose that it is another of those post processing things that is difficult to adjust, I have very little knowledge of editing programmes!

The Grand Tetons are one of the wonders of the earth that I shall never see with my own eyes, so it is always a pleasure to view such things through the eyes of others and the camera.

Thankyou for posting an interesting image, Peter.

Using a tree bow to frame an image is a very basic technique to create perspective. I know wedding photographers who carry a realistic artificial bow in their trunk in case there is no vegetation at the location. But in this case, it is my opinion that the aspens are too much of a good thing. It says to the viewer, do not enter, not to mention that on part of them the focus is soft. Landscapes typically require three elements, the near, middle, and far. I'm sure it was beuatiful to be there and this photo records that you were there. Thanks for sharing.

I like the foreground framing in this photograph. But, there is just too much picture to make the photograph effective. Also, it seems a bit too bright.
