Hi Rifa! what a great shot! i agree with the previous critiques.. the yellow is just so charming. the ray of light is just very nice to look at. Is the 10-20mm Sigma a good lens?? Would you recommend it?? hahaha just asking... it is good to ask a person who has first hand experience with it. Cheers -ryan

Yup very good lens it's really worth it, though I would prefer Canon L series 16-35 F. 2.8, of course with higher price :(

Very well done, Rifa!
I'm surprised this was at a f/22. Was the camera on automatic or did you adjust the settings? Just find it curious w/ that aperture. I suppose it's from shooting into the sun.....what was the shutter-speed?
The yellow hue throughout the shot works really nicely---adds an Indonesian "feel" (don't ask me to explain b/c I don't know exactly what I mean by that!)
May have liked to have seen just a BIT more towards the left, but since I don't know what is out of frame that way, I can't be sure. Same with the bottom --- a bit more rocks/tall grass.
The boats top-off the shot and the people bring the human element.
One thing I'll mention although not much you can do about it is the "haze" near the horizon--particularly noted in the mid-far right b/g. No big deal, though.......LOVE the cloud-cover and color! This provides some excellent contrast!
Overall, an effective, good shot and, from me, a SOLID two thumbs.

Hi Mike, thx a lot for your thorough observations and valuable inputs. It was taken using Aperture Priority Mode, using tripod, the speed was 1/10 s., have a nice one and Cheers..

The yellow colors are charming for me Rifa, and your composition looks good for me too. But the foreground inclding the rocks, flags and figures are a bit dark, would be better if they can be brightened up a little.
Cheers......Edwin

Very nice sunrise landscape. You did very well with the colors in the sky and capturing depth in the sky. The exposure on the people and flags, for me, should be shorter or longer. I see just enough to want to see more, or perhaps, wonder if it would work better in silhouette.
