The design of the pleasant colors shown here has been successful. This could also mean the conservative-minded observer that was shared here the unfavorable image in exactly two halves. Regards Gerhard

thanks you for the critique, I actual thought that the 50/50 horizon worked because of the sky and its reflection complimented each other

Hello Gideon...have to go along with the last critique with regards to the centrally placed water line in the image...just a little less dock would have given this image a bit more impact. Also, the image could benefit from some more contrast which IMHO would really bring out your good colors.

A very good effort and impressive image. Minor adjustments and this becomes a WOW image, IMHO. Thanks for sharing. Joe

Really nice landscape. Your capture of the sky is great. That dock leading the eye to the cityscape across the water is real good. The problem I have is with the horizon line, it is blurry, and centered.

The good lighting gives beautiful colours and a good atmosphere. The view is made in a good composition. Well seen and good photographed.
