This was taken on Sep 11, 2007 which explains the flag flying at half mast. It was a completely overcast day. I did photograph it the next day when the sky had cleared, but I like this overcast day shot better. The actual camera settings were ISO 200, 1/200 sec/ f/10, with the lens set to 12mm focal length.

Beautiful lighthouse portrait, Ray, wonderful sharp colors, nice soft hues and tones. A lot of our colleagues complain about "washed out" skies, but personally, I think under certain circumstances, they can easily contribute. This is one of those circumstances. Nice work indeed. Thanks for the view.
