There is a lot to like in the photo. However, IMO the stair railing is not helping - the one part runs through her head and a vertical is too close to her chest. Otherwise, a good photo with nice lighting. Regards. Bill

Absolutely beautiful from the pose to the use of specific lighting along with Fernanda's positioning on the stairway makes this a striking image, Joel!

Just a gorgeous shot Joel - lighting, pose and setting all exquisitely executed. MAy I ask what lighting you used?

Thank you Ken. It was a single 430EXII speedlite thru a white umbrella with radio triggers.

Very good composition. Nice use of colour. Excellent pose. Very nice lighting on the whole. I like the way that the light falls off emphasising the main subject. Sadly, there is some burnout over Fernanda's face, especially her cheekbones. It doesn't spoil the image, but it is a slight flaw.

Thanks Paul, I'll try to retouch the flaw you mention. The good thing about RAW files is that there's much more light and color information to work with.

Lighting is super, like a Caravaggio painting, but the shadows on her head are opaque. I love the red and other deep tones.
The wide door frame molding is overweighted and stressed by perspective distortion. A powerful, emotive shot. Regards..Hank
