This is a very beautiful picture, Dena. In my opinion this motif is very inspirational, because it makes us feel, how nature permanently forms the Earth. Not a single trace is like the other, and even the slightest wind makes them look different. From that perspective I do not miss an "anchor point" in your photo like one of the previous critics suggested, just the opposite: the structure speaks for itself, and that's a deep message. Almost needless to say that your photo is technically very well done, like all of your pics. Thanks for sharing and best regards, Roland

Hi Dena. I really like this one. I think you made a fantastic shot. Great angle & great composition. I think the shadows (from the waves) look like worms going to one common place. I think the picture is already very strong as it is. I don't think it needs a 'point of interest' or something like that. The shadows look totally black/dark. Is it 'natural' ? Thanks for sharing.

Lovely pattern Dena! pattern is always part of what make a photo interesting. However, I think if you had an object somewhere in this photo like a rock or ??? to break the pattern then it would make it much more interesting. Just my opinion, thanks for sharing!
